Your true self isn't that anymore. And is this really a bad thing?

Alternation between deconstruction and construction is a periodic action that makes you recreate yourself, or, better say, re-uncover your true Self; one part of it at a time.

I bet your new self will be "wider" than the previous one. Because every deconstruction phase encloses realizations, especially if you observe yourself and come up with conclusions. And I think you do that.

So, keep expanding, Imad! You know this phase will pass. All phases do.
I bet you will write even more insightful poems after it!
