Yes, it looks like this many times. Silence of course may have a lot of explanations. “Walls” sometimes don’t mean “I don’t want to talk to you specifically”. It could be “I don’t want to be open to anybody”, “I can’t communicate without being afraid of criticism”, “I’m afraid to be connected with others, ‘cause they’ll see my vulnerable sides”, and much more.

We have to find our own “degree of trying”. How much of it a situation deserves at any given moment.

And why do we need the contact with “that” person. Is there a pattern of the characters we usually try too much to have contact with? Why? (…)

Because, everything returns to us. The answers are within.
