Yes, I can see it, and I admitted it! I will also add a note. I believe the poem itself doesn’t reflect that I choose one side or the other.
I unconsciously thought the geographical field as the place where all this conflict is always happening. You see what I mean? Like it is the battlefield of this conflict. : (
But, I’m grateful this happened, because I saw what can be done when I’m in emotional tense. I was mourning while writing this. I was mourning inside, and the faces of the children I had in mind had no nationality, Patrick.
You see? With so much of self-awareness that I believe I have and my life proves so, there’s still work to be done until I reach the “width" my Self. The journey is in progress.
