When the mind is not confused by the ego-stuff, the repulsed material of subconscious, the tendency for self-affirmation by others etc., it can be harmonized with soul’s voice. But, it’s not easy, of course.
I think that if we were more encouraged (since childhood) to listen to our intuition, we could be more open to the soul’s messages. But we are not.
When my seven-year-old son asks me what to do in front of a condition or delimma, I’m not in a hurry to tell him what to do (to feed my ego because mothers supposed to know better than kids…). I say “What is yourself telling you? Stay in silence, forget about my presence for a minute, and observe what’s happening inside yourself. I believe you are the more suitable person to deside for this”. And he always has something to testify, because his inside is still closer to our natural skills. He says something and then I help him with questions that make him practise to listen to himself. Even when it comes to things about which I express my opinion, I always end up saying “this is my viewpoint. You are free to have yours, and this doesn’t necessarily have to be the same as mine”.
Thank you, too!
