What soul do they write about? They don't have a soul, so they write about the one of the humans... after winning over them. Hmmm... not so different from some cruel humans, after all. But, very different from some other humans.

AI is (hu)man-made and thus, it is created as a mirror of humans. Humans try to "upgrade" and widen themselves while they are creating AI(and other things) and improving it. The focus (from my viewpoint-s) shouldn't be on the result(AI), but on what transformations are taking place in the human being while it creates it. So, AI may upgrade us, but not exactly through becoming better than us, but through what we uncover in us as we create it.

We discover our pure, natural intelligence as we create an artificial one.
