To me, this is how an editorial is written when an editor and creator/owner of a publication is more of a writer, less of these (I’m saying it as a positive thing).
And pieces like this cannot be written all the time. Actually, they can, but their value isn’t exactly disconnected from the frequency in which they are written. They’ll lose their authenticity, if we see them very often.
So, take your break from the editorials(how sad you’ll be about this, I can imagine!), and you can always come back : P
