Through my journey until now, this is the only way I have found that really serves and affects positively my effectiveness in front of the challenges I have to face in life, and also my inner conditions. Because, to me, being externally effective but internally in upheaval isn't satisfactory, it isn't freedom, it isn't natural. Having a heavy "rock" in our chests isn't the natural condition. It's a sign that we have to interpret and use to become free.

I understand the frustration and the perplexity you referred to. This is what happens because the automated reaction to the thoughts is the creation of feelings by them, the triggering of memories. But being the external observer of the thoughts and the feelings without getting automatically on the bus(es ) (observing as if these are another person's thoughts and feelings), helps a lot.

I usually say to my mind "Ok, I see that bus/thought, I see what I feel about that, but I am not here to take a bus now. I just sit at the bus station. I'll get on one of them when I choose it" : )

Thank you very much for sharing this with me, Steve!
