This is the way I use to come to a point where I understand the source of someone's behaviour, lowering in this way the anger that could be expressed in me. This doesn't mean, of course, that there aren't times when we need to express to someone that they crossed specific limits of ours, but this way of processing helps me remain calm, and it also saves a lot of energy.
Simultaneously, it helps me remember the core connection we all have, the traps that I was also into, etc
