That simple thing, which is so great; taking responsibility.
When clients of mine are in the phase of being angry at their parents, I see it as a healthy phase BUT I always clarify within our conversations that it's OK ONLY if you don't stay in it forever, only if you keep working on forgiveness and take responsibility of what and who you were/are/will be as an adult.
I love it when you declare something like that about your father. It's that liberating "I'm not staying at the convenient anger phase".
