When everything fits perfectly, everything collapses

Each shaped piece of it is a field of our life;
this is how I saw it at that moment.
We try to make them fit perfectly.
The clock is ticking, being the opponent.

Personal life and profession,
friendships and all kinds of roles;
all of it like this multicoloured puzzle
that either gets stuck or rolls.

Brain, mind, heart, and spirit
toil in cooperation for the perfect match.
We become more and more skilful,
while a high score we’re trying to catch.

At some point, while I was playing
I detected a message on the screen.
It wasn’t visible the other times I played;
it wasn’t ready then to be seen.

A useful thought as a conclusion;
this was the message I saw — or created — ,
as lines and lines were disappearing
when pieces formed the perfect fit.

So, the outcome, the purpose,
the gift, the prize I win
is all the skills I developed
as the process…
