Romantic or unromantic… It doesn’t matter. These are just some ways we use to describe how we perceive various manifestations of love, or “love”. These are subjective of course.

The pure — unseen — source is something else. Not disconnected from the manifestations, but not exactly these. It’s the degree of the widening of one’s perception that makes the difference. Whether you stay to the manifestations in the range of the earthly individuality, or you expand yourself to the “point” of loving/living love itself.

And this is a factor that contributes to the degree of your expectations when you love. Whether you love waiting something in return — from the person you love — , or you love freely because what you need is fulfilled by experiencing pure love itself.
