“M the Greek” sounds great because you don’t just read about the Greek philosophy, spirit, past etc. You have a connection and an interaction with it.
“ …more to be called Greek one who participates in our education rather than one who has a common racial origin” (Isocrates, Athenian orator, rhetorician, and teacher). And by “education” he didn’t mean just the language and the sciences, of course. The Greek word he used hasn’t got “education" as the exact corresponding word, but you understand what I mean.
As for a negative of M/something I don’t like, well, within my interaction with him, whenever I’m bothered or I disagree, I express it directly at that time. So, I don’t have anything to say now.
