The narration is prose, but it is also poetic in a way.

The mixture of many ways of perception and understanding of life, selves, etc. makes words and characterizations issues of secondary importance. “Fiction”, “non-fiction”, “real”, “unreal”. The core topic is what’s happening within the writer and the readers as this is being created and read. What are the new discoveries about one’s self, the realizations, the “meeting” with parts of self we may hadn’t suspected until then, etc.
