I think and I see that we often confuse judgement with having an opinion. Being judgemental usually comes from an unconscious belief like “I’m gonna fix everybody because I know best”, but having an opinion after using critical thinking is a different thing. Of course I’ll have an opinion, but the way and the frequency in which I express it, show a lot of things. “What need of mine do I want to satisfy by expressing my opinion? Do I stay there? Do I insist on trying to make somebody adopt my opinion, even when it’s about something that has to do only with their lives and not mine? If it is something that affects me and I declare my limits, do I use my opinion in my head repeatedly for self-affirmation, or I don’t need that?”… Digging and digging, self-observing, finding my motive. : )

Thank you, Amy!
