I get the point here, but--in parallel--I believe that things don't go like that. Things are not always "this is done, that other thing starts now. There is a transition, a phase while the "two things" co-flow.
So, when it comes to this specific case here, since humans needed to create AI in "this moment", this was to be done. We passed our biases on them. If and when we will be free from biases, then that AI of the future might also be unbiased.
