I always go with “I’ll use technology instead of letting it use me”, as a general viewpoint and state of mine in front of technological developments.

To me, technology is definitely a manifestation and proof of human intelligence, but the way we use it can emerge a kind of …stupidity/lack of critical thinking, and enslavement.

Above all, when I look, for example, at anthropomorphic robots (shocking! ), I feel that whatever the degree of their “intelligence”, these can not r e a l l y replace humanity, because “they” can’t be a dwelling of a soul.
