He may also feel it when exposed on the world/ is among others, but “forgets” it and tends to wear the “costume”/persona(we all have one). But, when we are alone, it’s more possible that we understand/realize our real thoughts/opinions about us. Of course, all thrse also depend on the degree of seld-awareness.
