Goddess Athena is what she/It is for you. It doesn’t matter if she is Greece or what she is to me. She/It is a symbolism. And what matters here is what it symbolizes for you.
You are in love with her, and Eros is of course what connects the material part with the divine one. Eros can be there between two people, between a person and a meaning or a hobby, between people and an art, etc. In Greek mythology he was born by a mother who was not a goddess and a father who was. So, he always lives in between, being a bridge. And we “use” him as the means of going from our material part towards our divine one.
Goddess Athena can make roaches disappear, but she won’t do it alone. She (And the eros/bridge) can make you go to the point of managing what the roaches provoke to you. It will be done only if you co-act with “her”. Because the point isn’t for the divine essence to prove it can do things, but for us to understand that we ourselves can because the divine lies within us.
That’s my point of view.
This was also a very beautiful piece, Patrick!
