Everything that annoys us has something to tell us about ourselves.
So, some people read an article about the erotic experiences of a writer and feel disturbed, or they feel they have to do something about it. It is obvious that the story or the viewpoint of the writer triggered something in them. Why would anyone be annoyed by a choice other individuals have made in their lives, if not because of a “dissatisfaction” about themselves?
