An alphabet; a monad(unit) made of many monads. An ensemble of symbols. Symbols are short ways of expressing a message. The message is always beyond them, deeper and wider.

A human being; a creature made of many parts. A monad made of many monads. An ensemble of behaviors, different manifestations etc. And these are just like signs. The message is underneath them, deeper and wider.

Γνώθι σ’αυτόν is, to me, the only way in which we can really understand everything else in the Cosmos; from our circle of friends, relatives, etc., to the universe. Everything in between. There is no other way. Only through knowing (really knowing) ourselves to our full extent. Because this way, we automatically know the universe, since we are a miniature of it.

A writer puts himself in the shoes of an alphabet, digging both vertically and horizontally. Being the total of symbols, searching within, uncovering and unfolding more skills and sides of himself. Visualizing, creating, opening windows that don’t demand the closing of the old ones. They are just connected monads that cooperate to bring light into the room from more angles.
